These entry level yoga and pilates classes are designed specifically for the Port of Corpus Christi Authority employees.

  • The session begins with a gentle warm-up & breathwork to prepare the body & mind. Once settled, the soothing tones of crystal singing bowls are played, filling the space with harmonic vibrations that resonate through the body. 

    As the crystal singing bowls continue to sound, a guided Yoga Nidra meditation unfolds. Yoga Nidra is a state of conscious relaxation that guides participants through a systematic journey of body & breath awareness, visualization, and deep relaxation. 

    The combination of crystal singing bowls & Yoga Nidra creates a multisensory experience, Participants are enveloped in a cocoon of sound & guided through a profound inner journey.

  • The goal of this class is to create flexibility in the body.

    There are many benefits to having a flexible body including: Increased blood flow to the brain, Increased range of motion, Improved posture, Improved athletic performance, Relief from back pain, tension in the body and more.

    This class will also include Progressive Muscle Relaxation which is perfect for soothing sore muscles and Yoga Nidra for countering stress or anxiety in the body.

  • Experience a dynamic fusion of mat Pilates, where carefully curated workouts seamlessly blend Pilates core principles with bodyweight exercises and stretches.

    This holistic approach provides a mind-body experience, elevates heart rates, and challenges participants' cores. Suitable for all levels, modifications are available as needed to ensure everyone benefits from the session.

  • This Class will introduce alignment based postures to strengthen & stretch the body. Focus is on proper positioning of joints & manipulation of muscle to create a balanced posture, strong core & muscles of the spine to relieve bodies that sit for long periods of time. Hip flexibility will be introduced in class to relieve back pain and soreness and to help joint mobility.
